The Government, Parliament, Public & Media Relations Sector, headed by Sheikh Talal Al-Khalid Al-Sabah, is on a quest to nurture, adopt and encourage creative and original initiatives that enhance work performance and ensure a qualitative leap.
In an embodiment of this mission, the Media Relations Department, under the patronage of Sheikh Faisal Al-Sabah, Deputy Managing Director Government, Parliament, Public & Media Relations, launched a new pioneering initiative entitled “Project Manager.” This initiative is a Best Practice that has been applied at the Public & Media Department at KPC which proved its efficiency and high success rate as well as positive outcome.
The “Project Manager” is basically breaking the job tasks into various projects and assigning each employee with the responsibility of executing a project from start to finish, and choosing his team members; hence empowering an employee and giving him more room for creativity and instilling a strong sense of responsibility.
In celebration of this leading initiative, the Department held a breakfast party at the English Tea Lounge at the Sheraton where all team members where invited. The party was held under the patronage of Sheikh Faisal Al-Sabah and was exemplified with a one family spirit and feel.
