Within Kuwait, PMI related activities were started in 2002 in coordination with PMI-AGC. The  PMI-AGC Kuwait Team was formed in September 2006 and has been active ever since to serve the demands of the local members and industry while improving awareness of the tools and practices of project management.

PMI - Arabian Gulf Chapter (AGC)
PMI-AGC was formed in August 1992 and was officially registered in December 1992. PMI-AGC has seen substantial growth since then and currently has more than 4000 active members.  The chapter has 6 regional teams throughout the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Countries; in Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and UAE.  For more information, please visit PMI-AGC website.

Kuwait 25th January 2012, PMI-AGC Kuwait, organized a site visit to the construction site of the ongoing Middle East’s largest general hospital, Jaber Al-Ahmed Al-Sabah Hospital in South-Surra, Kuwait. The visit was aimed at reviewing the valuable lessons learned from the construction project of the largest medical center in the state of Kuwait.
