Technical Presentations

Technical presentations are held in the evenings, once or twice during a quarter. Attended by current and prospective members of PMI-AGC, these presentations are delivered by globally acclaimed experts as well as project management consultants who have successfully completed high value projects locally. These presentations also allow attendees to share their insights on project management through a networking session which is an integral part of the event. PMI credential holders can claim 2 PDUs for attending these presentations.

Breakfast Meetings

These events are held on weekends and allow participants to discuss their experience and understanding of a popular subject related to project management. The meeting is typically facilitated by an expert but involves the entire audience in an interactive exchange of ideas. These meetings also provide excellent networking opportunities to project management practitioners. PMI credential holders can claim 2 PDUs for attending these meetings.

Site Visits

Sponsored by Project Owners and Project Management Consultants, these events allow PMI-AGC members to visit important project sites where they are briefed about the project scope, objectives, challenges, opportunities and best practices. These events help in building better understanding of successful practices and also help in learning about the project management landscape of Kuwait. PMI credential holders can claim 4 PDUs for proceeding on these visits.

Training Workshops

These events are formal instructor led training workshops which help participants in preparing for certification exams, developing new skills and learning new concepts. Delivered by globally acclaimed instructors, these workshops bring together participants from various industries and regions, who in addition to learning from the instructor, also share valuable insights and experiences. These workshops are subsidized for PMI-AGC members and provides them an excellent opportunity to get first class training at an affordable price. For attending a training workshop, 35 PDUs can be claimed by PMI credential holders. An equal amount of contact hours can be claimed by those who plan to apply for PMI credentials.

Board Members Appreciation Dinner Meetings

Every year PMI-AGC Kuwait conduts Board members appreciation dinner meetings to appreciate its volunteers for their valuable contribution throughout the year. These meetings usually have multiple events such as PMI-AGC Kuwait Multi-year plan presentation which presents past year milestones achieved along with peformance and future targets, Appreciation and presenting momentos to Board members and retired board members and finally ends with a dinner.

Annual General Body Meetings and Volunteers Appreciation Ceremonies

Every year PMI-AGC Kuwait invites all members and their friends to attend our end of year Annual General Body Meeting and Volunteers Appreciation Ceremony. The objectives of this annual body meeting to share PMI-AGC Kuwait's achievements in the year passed as well as plans for next year with our guests and also to listen to their suggestions on how can we server them better in the years ahead. Another important objective of this event to acknowledge and show our gratitude to our many volunteers for their selfless services and immense contribution throughout the year by providing with a memento.

PMI-AGC International Conferences

Every year PMI-AGC conducts International Conferences which serves as a centralized platform for project management practitioners, engineers, planners, academicians and management to interact, share experiences, improve knowledge and showcase the latest projects and best practices of project management professionals in the GCC. 12th International PMI-AGC Conference, as described by President & CEO of PMI Mr. Gregory Balestrero, is the 2nd largest PMI event after PMI Global Congress - North America. Each year conference will have a theme to focus on which will be related to Project Management and its application, challenges, experience, etc. The conference lasts for three days and is accompanied by an exhibition. A number of parallel pre and post conference tutorial sessions will be held.
