Dear Members,
We would like to inform all our members that our PMI AGC President Mr. Mohammed Hammad, and Mr. Anthony Ikhimokpa, Sr. VP Admin & PR of PMI AGC have tendered their resignations. The PMI-AGC Board met on May 13th in Dubai, to deliberate on this matter and their resignations were accepted.
Four qualified individuals were nominated as candidates for the Chapter President Position.
Nine board members voted by secret ballot where Mr. Hashim Al-Rifaai was elected as the PMI-AGC President going forward. Mr. Al-Rifaai was the Kuwait Region President for the past few years and also held the position of Chairman of PMI-AGC Conference for consecutive 2 conferences that were held in Bahrain.
In addition to the above, the Board has also appointed Mr. Abul N. Kamal as Sr. Vice President of Admin & PR effective immediately.
Since Mr. Al-Rifaai accepted the position of the Chapter President, the Board unanimously agreed to appoint Mr. Wael Al-Jasem as his successor for the Kuwait Region. Within Kuwait, Mr. Mohammad R. Al-Ajmi has also tendered his resignation as Vice President of Membership & PR. Accordingly, Ms. Iman H. Al-Gharabally was appointed in place of Mr. Al-Ajmi as Vice President Membership & PR and Mr. Rami Al-Haddad was appointed as Vice President Finance & Administration. In addition, Mr. Mohamed Rafik Babu was appointed as Director of IT & Publications.
